My Story
Hey, I’m Sarah! I’m a watercolour artist and illustrator creating nursery artwork designed to feel calm, warm, and timeless.
Art has always been part of my life. I spent many summers as a child in my Nana and Grandad’s house drawing and painting, encouraged by my Grandad Harry, who was an artist himself. I never trained formally — I simply grew up surrounded by creativity and learned by doing.
After studying Visual Merchandising and Display and working with several Irish brands, I built a career rooted in creativity, interiors, and visual storytelling. Over time, I realised that what I loved most was creating work that felt personal and meaningful.
My nursery collection was first inspired by the birth of my nephew, Harry, in 2020. More recently, becoming a Mam to my daughter, Evie, has shaped my work even further. Experiencing motherhood firsthand has given me a deeper understanding of what parents look for when creating a space for their child — artwork that feels soothing, thoughtful, and made with care.
Each design begins as a hand-painted watercolour, created slowly in my studio. Every piece is painted by hand, with a lot of love going into each design, before being professionally printed in small batches.
I believe children’s spaces deserve artwork that feels gentle, considered, and beautifully made — something comforting to live with and designed to grow with them over time.
